I have the faint feeling I visited this place a long time ago.

I did visit. And then many years later I was bitten in the neck by a timber rattler. Go figure.

I was stationed at Jacksonville Naval Airstation in 1954.Special Services ran a tour Bus to Silver Springs. I remember seeing the largest Alligator I have ever seen, Even to this day, over 50 years later at Ross's Institute.

Have been here many times. It was our older son's favorite exhibit next to the Creature from the Black Lagoon that you could see from the glass bottom boat and the rhesus monkeys left over from the Tarzan movies filmed in Silver Springs. I guess you can tell I'm a Florida native!

Bitten in the neck by a timber rattler.

That is the single best thing I have read in at least one whole week.
