Actually stayed there in October 1991. There were no chain locks on the doors. When I called to complain, the woman on the phone said "Ain't nobody gonna getcha. Maids don't get in until 12". Bathtub wound up being loaded with bugs. Curtains were hanging by only a few curtain hooks. The 2nd room was not much better. Had one of those old, worn mattresses that collapsed around you when you got in. A real flea bag dump. Makes for a great story this many years later though.

That motel is still there in largely the same condition.
